Morning adventure, we floated and paddled about (who knew there are great views of Tecumseh from the middle of the pond) and then we decided to whack up to the pointy Peaked Hill high above the pond. We left from west end of the pond thanks to our boats and then whacked a short distance to a smaller pond. From there we went through mostly open woods as straight up as we could manage, it is steep and ledgy. Found a few openings with nice obstructed views. On the descent we further north aiming for the wider contours so instead of rocks/lege we had young hobblebush to step on. |
