Black flies were vexing down low, as well as a couple of deer flies. Not too bad up high. |

Ski trail grass is getting taller by the day. That, and the introduction of ticks in the last few years, makes the gravel access road the ideal way to hike the ski slopes. Lots of wildflowers, but strawberries are not yet evident.
Mt. Tecumseh Trail and Sosman Trail were generally dry.
Initially hot and humid, but temperatures/air became much more pleasant as the evening arrived. |
