Comments
Comments: Since we did the south peak from this road, we figured why not see how far we could get on the same road towards the north peak; a much more gradual climb, if so. Perfect! Just behind the clearing where we parked there was a grassy snowmobile/ATV road. We were able to follow it as it very gradually climbed towards our destination! Nice walking all the way! At a point where the trail took a right towards the ridge, we headed into the woods following faint trails pretty much all the way to the jar. Signed in and made our way back pretty much the same way. Nice hike: about 3/4 miles each way and 460' gain.
