First time up the Cross-Rivendell…. Just a wonderful trail to the summit. Nice switch backs to make it feel like a gradual accent. Rocks were a little greasy I’m assuming from rain in the morning…. I started at 11:00am and encountered no rain at all, just a beautiful day. I did see rain North at North peak but it missed me and I saw rain going back down but south of me so I picked the right mountain to hike today… great views… only saw 8 people…. quiet day and I’ll take it… if parking is plowed in the winter I’d love to snowshoe from this trailhead ✌🻠|
