Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nothing notable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails were well marked. Nice bog boards at higher elevation. Peabody Brook Trail was quite overgrown.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't bring him but most of the trails would've been fine for him. Only questionable section is the ladder on Peabody Brook Tr... it's more like a staircase, so he might've been okay... but it would've been tricky.
Bugs
Bugs: I always wear a bug net. Had a couple ticks on me.. especially with all the grassy/brushy parts on these trails.

Comments
Comments: Little 24hr overnight to trace this network of trails. Parked at Gates Brook Trhd and rollerbladed over to Austin Brook Trhd to go up Austin Brook Tr (that was a first). Took a detour to do section of Gate's west until the jcn with Middle Mtn trail. Then continued up to Gentian Pond Campsite and connected with my love, the AT. Such a beautiful place to sleep. Came down to Dryad Fall Tr including the spur to the fall.. pretty dry. Then took Peabody Brook Trail up to connect again with the AT at Dream Lake, then down, making detours at the Bald Ledge and Great Fall spurs. Great Fall was very dry. Then turned left onto Middle Mtn trail over Middle Mtn and then down Gate's Brook. Views were great on Bald Ledge and Middle Mtn. The heat was brutal though! Took a break in town to cool off and get some food and then came back to do the lower 0.8 of Peabody Brook Tr.
