a different way to do this little peak, but i had never been on this section of sawyer pond trail. very nice woods. the forest roads were easy although the road numbers are missing. i took off from road 35 steeply to the SW in fairly good woods. i hit the summit area only to not find any jar or marker. i then headed down and back to sawyer pond trail near birch hill and back to the car while passing 20 other hikers going to sawyer pond mostly. good hike but was getting tired. |
