We parked in the lot for Echo Lake State Park. There is also a very, very large parking lot at the bottom of Bald Mountain. Either parking lot= great :) |

Hiked in a counter-clockwise loop style hike (though funny enough we did not hike on the "Loop Trail" haha and decided instead to road walk after having descended Bald Mountain). This way (counter clockwise), we could have a walk DOWN to our car versus walking up to it at the end of the hike. We also like the counter-clockwise format to ascend the steep wet rock to Artists Bluff versus having to descend them. There is also a very, very large parking lot at the bottom of Bald Mountain... so, can still hike it counter clockwise. Either parking lot= great :) |
