Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

All crossings running low. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Some fairly eroded sections on upper Falling Waters, though there was some nice new rock steps on the lower portion of Falling Waters. All other trails in great shape. |

Saw a few early in the day, none up on the ridge. |

| Bugs: |
Not bad overall, annoying at times on the summits and when stopped, but no bug dope was needed today. |

| Comments: |
Great day for a Franconia Ridge loop going clockwise. Up Old Bridle Path in the morning to the hut and Lafayette beyond. Checked out North Lafayette for the first time. Took it slow over the ridge, making the most out of the great weather. Fantastic day to be out! |
