Hiked to summit with Linda and KC at a very leisurely pace, taking a lot of rest stops, and still made it under book time. No issues at all. Saw one other group of 7 from Maryland, including one young woman hiking barefoot who didn't carry any emergency footware. Maybe her parents had some tucked away? Beautiful day at the summit with lots of cumulus clouds above us. Wait for a clear day so as not to miss the views. Linda sprained her knee so our decent was very slow; grateful the bugs were gone. |
