Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Used Beth Z’s directions to get here: 2.9 miles on Indian Stream Rd then left onto Comstock Hill Road, turning right after crossing the bridge. 11+ miles on Comstock, staying right at two forks along the way. Arrive at dirt road on left that heads up towards the peak. Follow to Gate110. Plenty of parking in a clearing on the right just before the gate.

Comments
Comments: Walked past the gate, continuing on the road for about .5 miles, arriving at a pole with a directional arrow on it. Turned to the right and hiked up a snowmobile road to the height of land. Didn’t check our mileage and weren’t certain about where the snowmobile trail was headed so started our bushwhack here. Oops! Clear woods soon turned to waves of spruce and eye high hobble bush as we headed towards our destination. Ironically, we crossed a snow mobile trail two times before making our way towards the jar. Looking at a trail marked on Gaia, it appears it was the same trail we came up on. On tHe return we dropped down the west side of the mountain to a second snowmobile trail. As it was heading in the right direction, we followed almost all the way to the extension of the road. Once on the road, it was a relatively short walk back to the posted direction sign and then to our car.
