Comments
Comments: Only Shoal pond trail warrants comment. At Steve S recently pointed out, after you cross the river, you need to go left at the "T" and then hard right before the renegade campsite. The beginning of the trail is very thick and you have to push thru brush for about 100 yards. After that the trail is very easy to follow but it had many blow downs. Nearly all are step overs. Most of the bog bridges were ok. For trail runners or backpackers this is a rugged few miles. Worth visiting but it was a slow go at times. From the pond north the trail was in fabulous shape.
