Beautiful day out! There is definitely mud after all the recent rain, but could manage to avoid all of it with a little effort. Trails in the trees were still really wet, especially the first part from trailhead, but the alpine area/ Carriage Road were all nice and dry by the time I reached them. Not too busy, except at the summit where several trails converged, and was even alone at South Peak for a few minutes- definitely a good hike for a random weekday if you want a little solitude. |
