Comments
Comments: Rainy day but managed to catch this peak between storms! Headed slightly west back down the road hoping to avoid the initial 200 yards of hobble bush and tight new growth trees. Still had to make our way through some of it before popping out into open woods for the rest of the nice, moderate climb to the summit. Managed to find a moose skull in two pieces, several vertebrae and a long bone not too far below the high point. Moose scat everywhere! Must be a popular mountain! Located the canister, and Jack from Littleton’s oil can. Shows you how long these things survive the elements.... Signed in and headed down to the car the way we came, heading even further west near the bottom and enduring a bit less of the thick stuff. Nice hike: 590’ gain over .7 miles.
