Only a handful, of cars at 7:15am today in the Waterville Valley lot. Upon our return mid morning, there were dozens of cars. |

Started early to try and beat the rain - we made it to the summit before a drizzle turned into a steady rain started. Had the summit to ourselves, but we didn’t stay long with the rain coming down (and not to mention, no views today).
Given the rain, we didn’t expect to see as many people as we did on their way up as we were heading down! Rocks and roots were getting a bit slippery on our descent, but still a great morning to get out for a quick hike. |
