Parking/Access Road Notes

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: most water crossings were dry feet affairs. Up above the Six Husbands junction, there were several places where the trail and a stream are one, and you just have to walk in water to your ankles. Cold but refreshing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Many blowdowns on upper part of trail, before you get to Spaulding Lake. A lot of jungle gym type clambering over and under.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies were a challenge as we scrambled up the headwall.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: If you find a seatbelt looking nylon strap (for a hammock) at the campsite on the right after the Six Husbands junction, I would LOVE to get it back!
