| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Not too crowded on our arrival at 1pm on Sunday. Hardly anyone there when we came out Monday evening. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
most water crossings were dry feet affairs. Up above the Six Husbands junction, there were several places where the trail and a stream are one, and you just have to walk in water to your ankles. Cold but refreshing. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Many blowdowns on upper part of trail, before you get to Spaulding Lake. A lot of jungle gym type clambering over and under. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
| Bugs: |
Black flies were a challenge as we scrambled up the headwall. |
| Lost and Found: |
If you find a seatbelt looking nylon strap (for a hammock) at the campsite on the right after the Six Husbands junction, I would LOVE to get it back! |
