Walked a short ways further up Noyes and started our bushwhack. Primarily open woods and pretty moderate grade until the ridge. Here we encountered lots of high grass, raspberries and new growth trees. Located the recognized summit after checking out several bumps: two jars on the tree: one empty pill bottle at the base of the tree and a glass jar with new and old registers up higher. Took a direct line towards the car. Much of the same overgrowth. Not far from the road we passed a tagged tree and we’re soon following a vague path. Popped out between two tagged trees just above our car. Not sure if this is a local path or just dumb luck on our part? |
