Bugs weren't out; did get one tick bite (dog tick) on my knee. |

Beautiful hike. Noting that it has rained a substantial amount over the past week, the wet trail was no surprise. It seems like there was a fair bit more beaver activity than the last time I hiked this trail in the early 2000's. Saw a dozen or so frogs, red-tailed hawk, and a grouse. Moose tracks on the trail, but no moose to be seen. |
