I haven't been to this parking lot in a while. They changed how you enter and exit. I parked in the paved hiker lot but there were 4 cars in the dirt lot closer to the start of the trail. Plenty of parking available in both areas. |

No water crossing - but certainly between the outlook and the last climb up has plenty of water in the trail. |

Near the start - where it's sandy/loose gravel/dirt - has a trench in the middle of the trail from all the rain and water running down the trail. The ledge area had running water in many areas and other areas were wet. The part where you reenter the woods had running water on much of it -nothing new there. Just before the outlook has some puddles but easily avoidable. After the view-watch out!! Puddles galore-some easily avoidable with the little bypass areas - super wet and muddy. In this area you would be happy with gortext! After that, it's dry and the rest up to the tower is great. |
