Turned onto Millsfield Pond Road from 16N. Drove slightly over a mile to Deer Mountain Trail sign and turned left. We drove .8 miles up Deer Mountain Trail to a grassy pullout just short of the 'bridge". A little rocky in spots but manageable. We followed LadyB's parking directions and it was perfect. In retrospect, with a high clearance vehicle you could drive all the way to the picnic tables (there is no bridge). |

Simply took a bearing for the summit and proceeded on in open woods. Definitely the easiest whack today. Returned in almost the identical track. |
