|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Jim, Mt. Blue, Mt. Moosilauke, NH|
||Asquam Ridge Trail, Beaver Brook Trail, herd path, Carriage Road, Hurricane Trail, Gorge Brook Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, July 24, 2021|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||8th car on arrival around 0530, didn't count but must've been around 100 upon return around 1000. |
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||All bridged. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||All greatly maintained, a few overgrown sections south of Snapper Trail as to be expected. |
|Lost and Found:
||A great elongated loop of Moosilauke today, first time up Asquam Ridge which was great due to 1) following a logging road until Mt. Jim, and 2) no one else apparently going this way=spider webs in the face, so those cars parked before me were all Gorge Brook?)|
The Carriage Road past Snapper Trail was beautiful due to the forest reclamation of the trail, but still easy to follow.
