	Date of Hike:	Saturday, July 31, 2021

	Parking/Access Road Notes:	I was the second car into the lot at around 4 AM. When I left around 9:30 AM, the lot was packed and cars were parked on the sides of the road.

	Surface Conditions:	Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	nothing of concern

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	the humans that take care of this trail have done an exceptional job. The care put into it is obvious. Mother Nature, on the other hand, got all of their beautiful workmanship wet and muddy, but what are you going to do, right? Still a beautiful hike/

	Dog-Related Notes:	Saw three dogs. 2 were great. One wasn't and certainly should have been on a leash. The trail itself is one of the more dog-friendly hikes I've been on in terms of 48x4Ks.

	Bugs:	I think I saw two mosquitos. Non-issue.

	Lost and Found:


	Comments:	Aisw from mud (mostly rock-hoppable), there was little to complain about. No views from the summit when I got there (around sunrise), but the folks who came later in the morning had pristine blue skies.
