Comments
Comments: Early morning hike to Moriah. Wet slippery, muddy. Beautiful early morning colors! On top @ 6:15 already 3 ahead of me. Nice herd path at just before final climb. Never noticed it before. Hung here for a different view. So peaceful. Back to the ledges for breakfast & amazing views. Decision time, Stony Brook & long road walk or climb North Carter with heavy pack? Easy... climb up North is a real soul crusher but a blast! Slippery, scrambling, lung bursting! Can’t wait to go again! North Carter is a running stream for the 1st & last 1/3rd. Imp wet muddy, see above for water crossing. Dodge cutoff easy to spot. A great couple of days in this range! Imp campsite is a must.
