Made our way through the field of goldenrod towards an opening to the right at the rear of the field. Luckily despite the abundant and tall regrowth, a faint moose herd path was visible almost all the way to the summit. Also lucky was the absence of raspberry bushes! We followed the moose path, checking our heading at any forks much of the way, crossing into open woods on a couple of occasions. Located the jars on a wooded bump. Made our way down pretty much on the same track with the moose paths more apparent due to your widening them on ascent. |
