I recollect a couple of stepovers on the Percy Peaks Trail a few tenths before the height of land, a few duck unders on the South Percy Trail, and a few stepovers on the Percy Loop. Some gullying action just before treeline on the way up North Percy (roots/branches have been cut on a tree that, when it goes, will make it harder to get up. |

Soil was mostly dry on the trails today, but some of the rocks/slabs were slippery in the woods. Slabs on North Percy proper were dry and not an issue.
A few blueberries on South Percy, but well past peak. Still some good blueberries on the top of North Percy.
Hazy and warm today, but a breeze made it bearable up high. Hobblebush is changing color. Nice swimming hole just below the Percy Peaks Trail trailhead on the other side of the road. |
