Comments: Davis Path, Rocky Branch, Isolation West, Isolation Spur

Peaceful, quiet day in the woods. Overcast and pleasantly cool relative to the heat and humidity this summer. I have heard a lot of folks online complaining about this route but we found it very enjoyable today. Sloppy in a few places but mostly avoidable mud and standing water. I see how this trail could be really tough in the wrong conditions but its in good shape now so enjoy it before more precip comes.

There is a certain delight in walking through dense trees for 7 miles and pop up with amazing views of Mt Washington.
