Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Everything was in good shape except for Table Rock Climbing Trail, which in my opinion should be closed. The erosion is pretty staggering due to the extremely steep grade. Lots of boulders have worked their way loose and the upper portion before topping out is a muddy, slippery chute. One awkward blowdown on the climbing trail is in one of the steepest pitches and requires ducking under.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Wouldn't bring a dog near Table Rock.

Comments
Comments: Table Rock the long way (yeah, I was just here recently). Did this loop around the notch counter-clockwise like last time. Trails were mostly dry with just a few small areas of mud. The only tricky sections were the climbing trail and descending past Index Rock on Sanguinary Ridge Trail. This stretch has some loose rock to be mindful of as you cross the slides.

Both the flume near the start of the hike and the Huntington Cascades were flowing well. That gorge that Cascade Brook tumbles through is so wild. Excellent views from all of the ledge outlooks scattered along this route.
