All crossings were easy, either on rocks or branches. |

Step-overs scattered throughout. |

Dogs might have a problem on the south side steeps on Square Ledge Trail, especially small ones. |

Saw a glove hanging from the arrow sign on the bigger crossing at the bottom of Passaconaway Cutoff. |

I did the loop clockwise. I'd rather deal with the steeps and scrambles going up, not coming down. I think I made the right choice. I was looking for something different today, so I decided on this hike. After I had gotten to the large rock face at the top, my brain kicked in, hey I've been here before. I'll check my records. I remember it was a winter hike some years ago. Oh well, It's tough getting old. But, it was still a good hike on a nice day. |
