Big group in lot early, 4 year old girl finishing her 48 today! How cool is that! Neil from White Mountain Wanderers also here, filming her hike! Nice to finally meet him. Damp trail but not slippery, made for quick trip. Went left at summit sign for 1st time. Very wet & slick rocks here. About 8 on top, clouds rolled in then out for pretty views. Down Sosman, 2 great view points to ski trails. Lunch on deck of snack bar...closed, solo here. Great spot nice view of Sandwich Dome. Nice hike although car trouble put an end to my planned Carrigain hike. Oh well mountains aren’t going anywhere! |
