Could park on the side of Rt. 16 at Crew Cut (I was dropped off). Joe Dodge was its usual busy packed self. |

Would be good for pooches, didn't see any though. Not much water, but it's a relatively short trip. |

Redlined this little section after a long day on Washingotn the previous day. Maybe that's why it felt more difficult than anticipated. Some areas on George's Gorge and Crew Cut are steep with a lot of rocks. Nice view and breeze from Lila's Ledge. Old Jackson Road is like a gravel sidewalk for most of the way. Many short day hike visitors from both Joe Dodge and the Auto Road. |
