What do you do after an early hike of Waumbek? You redline Boy Mtn. After parking, RUN across Rte 2 or you risk death. Follow the arrows on the split rail fence and through the woods and continue up, up, up for .7 miles. There is a bench for catching your breath and enjoying the views, but the true summit is in the woods behind the bench. saw no one up or down, which was nice after the many many hikers on Waumbek. |
