Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape and well signed. Thanks RMC! There are 3 blowdowns 1 of which is saw worthy blocking the trail.within the first 1200 feet of beginning of trail. The other 2 are easy stepovers. There also was one trimmed duck under on The Cook Path.Blazing is very visible until approximately 3/4 thru the Gulch. Even so just followed thru with no issue until I picked up the blazes again. The Fairy Spring sign is down but in great shape as well as bolts. A couple of broken bog bridges

Comments
Comments: A low traffic fun hike thru a beautiful open hardwood forest with an amazing waterfall on the Peboamauk Loop. At this point it felt like the temp dropped 15-20 degrees. This loop led to the Gulch where the poles went onto the pack. Lots of fun scrambly boulders at random angles. Some dry, some wet, others moss covered and slick as can be. While not overly technical thoughtful foot/hand placement were important. Was incredible that on a fairly warm day there were parts of the gulch that were quite chilly. This really is "Winters Home"
