Met a trail maintainer on our way out- doing good work. Trails are in great shape. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Great but long trail for a dog. Plenty of water throughout trail. Met Hermes and his human hiking the AT and he was having a great time…Although he might of tried to herd our group. Too bad we couldn’t keep up. |

 | Comments: |
Beautiful trail start to finish. The first few miles are just serene along and over the river and pond. Hut was a nice stop before tackling the immediate steep ascent. Zeacliff views are outstanding even with a partially overcast sky. Fun network of bog bridges after leaving Zeacliff. The push to the summit is a mildly rugged alpine forest with occasional peeks through the trees. It was a great day to be out and meet some Thru hikers. |
