| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing to North of Cog RR was relatively easy. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
1 minor blowdown. Otherwise good, although more drainage would probably keep the trail less muddy |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
A few pooches sighted. All as well-behaved as their owners. One dog had a beautiful grey/taupe coat. |

Generally not a problem |

Saw one black sleeping bag on a cairn on the way to Jefferson. Gone on return |

Windy, partly cloudy and brisk day. Clouds gradually gave way to clear, beautiful skies.
Another great day in the NH White Mountains!
