Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only one Downes Brook. With a little planning easy rock hop. Although two ahead of me waded with water shoes.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Enough blazes and well placed arrows make this an easy to follow trail. One larger widow maker may be a problem when it comes down.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw one it got an assist on the final open slabs. No water after brook.
Bugs
Bugs: None but did see a small garter snake.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing

Comments
Comments: A 52 WAV that gives you more than the effort required. Views to Washington and beyond today. Colors are definitely starting to change. Can see the granite slabs and open ledges could give problems when wet but why do a 52 WAV in rainy weather. Saw 9 others on the trail today nice talking with many of them.
