Comments
Comments: We did a traverse from Bear Notch Road to Echo Lake State Park. Trail is in fine shape up to Table Mountain, which has the only views on the trip. Beyond that trail is considerably rougher. Just before Big Attitash the trail disappears into a moss bog. We kept to the left (north side) edge of the bog and quickly found the trail on the other side.. Beyond that trail finding was not a problem. There is a long rough descent off Big Attitash. When the trail reaches Lucy Brook, we crossed the stream, but the trail makes a right turn and runs along side the stream. We only saw 5 people all day. It took 7 hours.
