Comments
Comments: Quick hike of Wildcat D tonight with scattered showers and pea soup at summit. the slopes have been mowed which allowed me to hike up Tomcat Schuss for a nice elevation gain and avoid the gravel path for awhile. As much as i like Tomcat for the ascent i really didnt want to descend this way but ended up doing just that after encountering at least two large moose(possibly three)on the return trip.. i hiked up a bit and hiked down the slippery Schuss. From what i could see the moose were quite healthy and well fed.
