Parking/Access Road Notes:
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One hop wonders. But the rocks are wet and potentially slippery, so use all due caution so as not to spoil your outing!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail was in fantastic shape. For one that's not on the map, it gives the AMC a run for the money on their best maintained trails.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a delightful spaniel who charged at me like a bullet, and went straight for the face. Poor thing can't hold her licker, but that's OK with me. Doggy kisses are divine. She was otherwise very well behaved and very obviously having a wonderful outing with mom.
Bugs
Bugs: None that were terribly bothersome.

Comments
Comments: The drizzle came and went periodically throughout the afternoon, but that was OK. It was warm, the trail fine, and hey, who's having a bad time with all that? The rain just washes off all the sweat. It was a great day to be out on the mountain, and on a trail with easy grades. Not much to look at? Nay say I: there were birches galore, for one thing. For the others, you'll just have to get out there and see for yourself. It's worth it, I promise.

Photos and a write up are on my blog, as always.
