| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
We cut several blow downs north of the height of land in an area with lots of evidence of past blow downs. There are still a couple of large diameters blow downs that would require a larger saw than we had. The new trail relocation just south of the end of the former railbed is impressive, although its not cut down to mineral soil. Hopefully is wears in well |

Thsi was backup hike to Hitchcock bushwhack. The woods looked wet in the AM. It cleared out nicely. We saw no one past the trail to the Hancocks to about 15 minutes from Lincoln Woods trail. There was color in woods but I expect peak is still a week or so out. |
