Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Appalachia lot was full for straight in parking at 8:20am. Plenty of parallel parking available. Lot was not full upon return at 3:30pm.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes: Other than walking up trails with water running down/across them, none. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Outstanding job on all trails by whoever has been maintaining them. Especially on Valley Way, the work that has gone into diverting water on that trail is amazing.

Bugs: A few small ones buzzing in a couple sections of the subway..

Comments: Shortline and Valley Way are muddy. Subway was fun and challenging. King Ravine is well marked and quite steep in spots. Overall, an awesome day in the Northern Presi’s.
