What a great hike today, good views with an wonderful undercast on our way up that made Sunday Mountain look amazing poking out! Love the ledges and hard to believe but I met an AT Sobo-er that I had met in Maine over the Labor Day weekend sitting on top! Sharon and Rowena's first visit to Mt. Cube and another 52wav peak for them. We ate lunch on the North Peak ledges and enjoyed the big view of Mt. Moose and beyond. Foliage looks grand at peak. We confused a couple when we hit the highpoint just north and to the right past the summit sign, they couldn't figure out where the trail went. |
