Comments
Comments: Foliage was slightly past peak with many leaves off trees and coating the ground. Beautiful dry trail for most of the way up, with the boggy section on Lend-a-hand muddy but manageable. We chose this mostly viewless loop today because of the gray day, but the quiet end of autumn lent it a magical air and we had an absolutely beautiful walk. Some traffic going up, no one at all going down. Best of luck on the 48 to the two folks we met at the summit, the comedian whose work is returning and the friendly dad doing the Bonds Traverse!
