Comments
Comments: Nice fall hike. Foliage a little past peak. Pay attention going up Kelley trail - it intersects with trail 337, and many make the mistake of heading uphill on 337 at this point. Go downhill (counter-intuitive) an eighth of a mile to where Kelley takes a left turn uphill. When you hit the Paugus ledges, there is a little trail beyond the rock "benches" that goes out to the real view. Do not sit on the main ledges wondering why the view is only mediocre. We almost missed this. Overall trail around loop was 8.6 miles.
