Comments
Comments: Counter clockwise loop from 19MB with a jog down RT 16 to parking lot C and up the ski trails. Some small sections of ice to avoided along WRT, slightly more heading down to the notch from A peak. While I did carry rock spikes today nothing came close to warrant the use of them. Heading up C-M to Carter Dome mostly was dry, and only a few very minor spots of black ice to North Carter. As Cookies mentioned, the bog bridges this morning were slick. North Carter Trail was ice free with the typical sections of running water, same with Imp.

The trails were not super busy today, felt more like a weekday prior to 2020. I only encounted about 10 other hikers all day including a few working through their 48, some seasoned vets and even a few hall of famers. Since I get distracted easily I likely spent more time gabbing than actually hiking. All good conversations throughout and it was nice meeting some new faces and seeing some familar ones too!
