 | Water Crossing Notes: |
I zigzagged my way across on the ascent, somewhat downstream from the trail, and managed to stayed dry. However, the water level made this quite a challenging crossing and I elected to go down the Forest Road rather than test my luck a second time. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The steep ascent to the first viewpoint is suffering from significant erosion and widening of the treadway (8 - 10 feet or more in many places) It's somewhat difficult to determine where the original tread is supposed to be in a number of areas. Re-location of this part of the trail may be the only solution on this heavily used trail. |
