Light trace of snow covers the entirety of the trail. I put spikes on roughly 1.4 miles in and kept them on until I was just about back at the Trailhead. Above treeline, there are some spots of ice especially on the first & second caps. Spikes were definitely very useful above treeline, more so on the descent but great to have them going up too. |
