Comments
Comments: Nice day to get out to Little East Pond with a side trip up to Scar Ridge Peak 3400. For the bushwhack, I took an old logging road that runs up the slopes to the east of the pond (starting point 44° 0.887'N 71° 35.013'W). This road has gotten thicker over the years but it is still a fast route — 35 minutes from the pond to the ridge at a moderate pace. Trace amounts of snow on the ridge. Didn’t see anyone else on the trails today.
