Rode my bike from south trailhead on NH 115 to north trailhead on NH 115; this is downhill almost all the way and a easy way to make this into a point to point hike rather than an out and back. |

 | Comments: |
Owl’s Head Trail was fairly wet lower down. There was a dusting of snow higher on the north facing slope, but not enough to need traction. Beautiful views from the ledges! Starting down Martha’s Mile there were two icy, short, steep pitches that were easiest to slide down. Might be a challenging scramble going in the other direction. A number of blowdowns east of the trail made for multiple views of the Presidentials along the Mile. A little more soft snow on the Martha Spur and a short way down the Cherry Mountain Trail, but again no need for traction. |
