 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
From Rt. 26, drove North on Corser Brook Road approximately 2.25 miles. Right turn onto road that descends to and crosses Corser Brook. Shortly after crossing brook, took a left at the intersection and headed North. This road is passable, but it is lined with saplings and narrow. Drove approximately 1.1 miles to the third clearing. With care my Honda Accord was able to easily pass all obstacles. |

 | Comments: |
I headed up from the third clearing following the path of least resistance and ended up on the summit ridge northwest of the summit. It took a little bit of hunting around to find the summit canister. Fran M. wrote in an earlier report, "We finally found the recognized summit in what appeared to be the thickest trees surrounding and hiding it." I would agree with this, especially if you are approaching from the Northwest. There is a short herd path through the thickness from the Southeast. |
