Perfect weather today. Cold start but no wind sunny warm on top in the sun. Wet muddy trail, slick roots & rocks leaves. Very gentle grades, switchbacks near top. This is a great hike for all. Views were fantastic, could see into Vermont. Washington is covered in snow. Sat in the sun & enjoyed some great company! Only saw 8 others so made the right call hiking this one. Great view of Stinson lake on herd path. Snowmobile trail was all flattened grass, but was frozen not muddy. An absolute beauty of a day, not many more like today left until spring! |
