Comments
Comments: Out/back to the summit from York Pond Rd. Barebooted the first section and put microspikes on for the main ascent up to the summit. Kept spikes on for most of the descent which was then icier and with some fresh snow hiding the ice. Lower sections, especially on Bunnell Notch Tr, were icy and muddy in parts. Once on the main ascent to the summit things are better and more consistent with snow cover. Only saw two other hikers and a hunter, flurries all day made for a picturesque hike!
